Industrial equipment for an all time process monitoring of the concentration of suspended solids (turbidity) in a liquid media and controlling of leading devices.
Turbidimeters - turbinemeter IMP - 2A
AUTONOMOUS
TURBIDITY METER IMMERSIBLE
IMP-2A
In accordance with international quality standard of water ("Water quality; Determination of turbidity") ISO 7027 and their German and European versions (DIN 38404, EN 27027) is conducted turbidimetric turbidimetry method and is expressed in units of turbidity (formazine) (FTU)
Application
Environmental monitoring - Offline turbidity turbidimetric IMP-2A is intended for research of the spatial distribution and vertical stratification of turbidity (concentration of suspended matter) in conducting an environmental monitoring study of the concentration of suspended sediment and process of weighing the deposited material due to its dispersion composition.
Study of abrasion-accumulation processes - Rapid identification of abrasion coastal areas, the flow of suspended sediment and its transformation. Determining Accumulation forms of relief. Localization of litodinamic systems.
Main advantages
Package includes:
1.Turbidimeters IMP-2A submersible.
2.Autonomous power supply 13V, 2.1A.
3.Remote indication and accumulation of data.
4.Charger.
Specifications
This instrument is unique in its parameters and is unparalleled in its simplicity of application and accuracy of measurement, which is achieved by applying new principles and techniques. Turbidimeters measuring channels equipped with hydrostatic pressure, temperature (on request), which makes it universal in research.
Contamination of the illuminators leads to a weakening of the measured luminous flux and traditional turbidimeters analyzed as increased turbidity of water environment - which leads to a significant error in measuring turbidity of the water environment. Application developed a special design and methodology allowed us to exclude the influence of the surface film and contamination of illuminators on the measurement result.
The turbidity of water, depending on the concentration of suspended substances in it is one of the main parameters characterizing the transformation processes of suspended matter in the abrasion - accumulation processes. To study the turbidity of the water used turbinemeter (turbidimeters) allows to objectively conduct studies of the spatial distribution and vertical stratification of suspended matter in the study area. Turbidity is an informative parameter in studying the flow of sedimentary material in the water column, together with the study of particulate matter of all kinds, the classification of water masses and study their transformation (Azovomorskoy and the Black Sea water masses in the Kerch Strait, river to sea, coastal water; abrasion-accumulation processes with the definition of local abrasion areas and direction of suspended sediment transport of the material and its subsequent storage; litodinamicheskih processes, taking into account coastal erosion and involvement in the suspension of bottom sediments and transfer of pollution from coastal sources).
Turbidity, directly related to the concentration of particulate (tirrigennogo and organic) substances is an effective natural tracer, allowing to identify the main streams, including from places erosion (runoff) - for maximum concentration on the reduction of its values - to evaluate the pathways and sites of accumulation (sedimentation).
Turbidity is measured in standard units and, depending on the calibration of the suspension (formazina or kaolin) is measured in units of turbidity on formazinu (FTU (Formazine Turbidity Unit)) or in weight units of turbidity of kaolin (mg / l). Units intertwined relationship 1FTU = 0.87 mg / liter. However, the natural suspension of physical and optical properties different from a model suspension of kaolin and has regional features.
Environmental monitoring.
Monitoring of the water quality (in particular - environmental monitoring) involves monitoring of a source of pollutants in the aquatic environment, transport of pollutants in the aquatic environment, their place of storage and secondary transport - landscape-geochemical redistribution of natural and pollutant - the migration of contaminants in bottom area and the aquatic environment as a result of increasing hydrodynamic activity in the bottom area under the influence of external factors.
Sevastopol bay exposed to significant anthropogenic and technogenic load. Mapping the sources of pollutants and their migration routes provides objective data for monitoring environmental pollution.
