Autonomous measuring photosynthetically-active radiation (photosynthetically active radiation RAR) - quantometer Kvant-A is intended for research of the spatial distribution and vertical stratification of underwater irradiance in the photic zone quanta × cm 2 × sec-1 for environmental monitoring, research photosynthesis and assessment of technogenic and anthropogenic pressures on biological system and registration in the detail panel of the measured values.

 

Application

Environmental monitoring - Autonomous underwater quantum irradiance meter is intended for research photic regime - the spatial distribution and vertical stratification of photosynthetically-active underwater radiation (in μEinsteins/m2.sec) in environmental monitoring, investigation of the processes of photosynthesis, the study of adaptation mechanisms and regulation of the growth perspective for fisheries and cultivation of macrophytes.

Evaluating the effectiveness of biological resource management - Evaluation of cultivation conditions of aquaculture, taking into account the peculiarities of the hydrological regime, the availability of local anthropogenic sources, their transformation and accumulation in the bottom layer. Research promising for harvesting and cultivation of macrophytes, the assessment of biologically active substances, their dependence on rational useage of natural biological resources of the coastal zone.

    Specifications

    This instrument is unique in its parameters and is unparalleled in its simplicity of application and accuracy of measurement, which is achieved by applying new principles and metodik. Quantometer completed by measuring channels of hydrostatic pressure, temperature (on request), which makes it universal in research.

    Feature design allows measurement of both downward (incident), and rising the underwater photosynthetically-active radiation (in μEinsteins/m2.sec).

    Measurements of underwater irradiance in the photic zone in quanta × cm 2 × sec-1 most fully expresses the physical process occurring in the biological system in photosynthesis. Consequently, the study of photosynthesis light measurements should preferably be in quanta. The spectral irradiance E λ is determined by the number of quanta N (λ):

    Quantometer KVANT-A has a flexible structure with the possibility of recording data on the PA-1 with subsequent recording of data on the PC. Nutrition quantometer by the autonomous power supply ("PAD"). Charging the battery BPA conducted from the charger. 

    Office work quantometer, display, and the accumulation of information by using the remote PA-1, which is part of the set.
    PA-1 has a non-volatile memory, which is retained after power is turned off all current information about the installed options, modes, and the results of the measurements.
